Donate essential items:We will be collecting various items for animals in rescues. Please take a look at our poster for examples of items we need the most. These are mainly:
As usual, we welcome other donations too. Please note, we will NOT be collecting any duvets or pillows, but welcome donations of towels and blankets. |

Monetary donations:You can support NANNA by contributing through our dedicated Facebook fundraiser. Every penny counts and goes directly to the rescue, free of any fundraiser fees. Your generosity will help NANNA continue to care for over 800 abandoned animals. If you prefer, you could also donate money directly to NANNA’s bank account: Thank you for all your support! |
Any size of donation is important and the money will be used to pay for vet bills. You can use the Gift Aid option too (please tick the relevant box).
Why these items?

Wooden Cat Litter
Wooden cat litter is a great choice for cats in shelters. It is a natural, sustainable and biodegradable litter that is made from untreated wood. It is absorbent, non-toxic and hypoallergenic, making it safe for cats and other animals. Additionally, wooden litter is dust-free, making it an ideal choice for cats with allergies or sensitive skin.

Cat Food
Cats need a balanced diet to stay healthy and active. Shelter cats are often in need of food, so providing them with a good quality cat food is essential. Wet cat food is ideal because it is easier to digest and contains more essential nutrients than dry food. It is also more palatable for cats, so they are more likely to eat it, which is important when food is scarce.

Hypoallergenic Dog Food
Hypoallergenic dog food is specially formulated for dogs with allergies. It is made with limited ingredients that are less likely to cause an allergic reaction. This type of food is important for dogs in shelters, as they may have allergies that can be triggered by regular dog food. Hypoallergenic dog food can help them stay healthy and comfortable.
*We ask for this specific type of cat litter, so it can be recycled / composted on site. This is often the cheapest solution too, and allows NANNA to reduce the amount of waste on site.
