Tips & Ideas

Please remember to always take a bottle of water (and if you can, a foldable water bowl) when out and about. Pets and other animals will always appreciate a sip of fresh, clean water.

Same as you, your dog will need to stay hydrated during your walk, especially if you are planning to cover some distance.

Please always bring a water bottle for you and your dog.

If your pet does not drink from a water bottle, be sure to bring a foldable water bowl.

It is also possible to use a zipped bag in lieu of a water bowl, so please consider this alternative too.

Water bottles may also be useful for other things. If you, your pet, another human or animal get injured, then having fresh, clean water becomes very useful. Wounds or burns should first of all always get cleaned and water washed before you apply any other treatment. Please be weary when approaching wild or unfamiliar animals!

Please also remember your dog will need to rest during hiking and long walks. Pets often do not show signs of dehadration or fatigue until it is too late. You are responsible for you pet, so please check it often and allow the much needed rest.
